Recycle Your Products

WE WILL RECYCLE YOUR OLD ELECTRICALS

If you purchase a new electrical item from us, we will recycle your old one at no cost!

WHY SHOULD YOU RECYCLE?

Quitting smoking has a significant and positive impact on the environment. A massive 5.7 trillion sheets of paper are required each year to produce the world's cigarettes. A single cigarette butt can pollute up to 1000 litres of water. You're already making a difference by switching to vaping.

However, vaping can generate waste, which we must be cautious of. With the growing popularity of disposables, this can result in a significant amount of waste being sent to landfills. Unwanted electrical equipment is the fastest growing type of waste in the U.K. More than 75% of waste electrical goods end up in landfill, where the toxins stored in the products can harm the environment.

Toxins from waste electrical goods can pollute soil and water supplies in populated areas near landfills. This can lead to a variety of issues within communities.

The vast majority of electrical items that we discard can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save the environment and lowers the health risks associated with landfilling waste electrical goods.

To reduce our environmental impact and protect the planet for future generations, we must all be aware of the benefits of recycling and how we can all make a difference.

WE CAN HELP

In addition to our online store, Vape Shop has outlets across the U.K where you can deposit your device to recycle. We are pleased to provide our customers with the opportunity to recycle their old vape electrical items when they purchase a new item from us. Please do not dispose of any electrical equipment in your bin. All electrical equipment with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol should not be discarded as unsorted waste but must be sent to separate collection facilities for recovery and recycling.

WHAT IS WEEE?

The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take‐back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment free take back of their old electricals on a like‐for‐like basis.
